This page contains the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and End User
License Agreement for PLYVA, an envelope-budgeting and expense-tracking app for
iPhone. PLYVA is provided by Emina Halilovic (“PLYVA”, “we”,
“us”). By using PLYVA you agree to the terms below.
Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using PLYVA. They form an
agreement between you and Emina Halilovic, the developer of PLYVA. If you do
not agree, please do not use the app.
Using PLYVA
PLYVA is for your personal, non-commercial use to plan and track your own
budget.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you
enter, and for keeping your device and account secure.
You agree not to misuse the app — for example, attempting to disrupt the
service, access other users’ data, or reverse-engineer the app except where
permitted by law.
Your account and data
You can use PLYVA without an account (“Continue without an account”), in which
case your data stays on your device until you choose to register. Creating an
account (email, Sign in with Apple, or Google) lets your budget sync across
your devices and, if you choose, be shared within a household. Your budget data
is stored on our behalf by Appwrite Cloud in the European Union (Frankfurt).
PLYVA Premium subscriptions
Plans. PLYVA Premium is an auto-renewable subscription in
two tiers — Single (for one person) and Family (adds
shared household budgets, envelopes and goals with invited members) — each
available monthly or yearly.
Free trial. Eligible new subscribers get a 3-day free
trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid
subscription.
Price and billing. The exact price and billing period are
shown in the app and on the App Store before you confirm the purchase, in
your local currency. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period
unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Managing and cancelling. Purchases are processed by Apple.
You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID account
settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future
renewals; the current period continues until it ends.
Free tier. Without a subscription you can add up to 10
transactions in total; the rest of the app remains usable.
Availability and changes
We work to keep PLYVA available and reliable, but we provide it “as is” and may
add, change or remove features over time. We may update these terms; when we
do, we will change the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes,
let you know in the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, without regard
to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer-protection
rights you may have where you live.
This policy explains what personal data PLYVA processes, why, and the choices
and rights you have. We built PLYVA to keep your financial data private: we do
not sell your data, we do not use it for
advertising, and we do not share it with data brokers.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller for PLYVA is Emina Halilovic, operating
PLYVA. For any privacy question or request, contact
support@get-plyva.app.
What data we collect
Account data — your name and email address when you create
an account. With “Continue without an account” you get an anonymous session
and no name or email is collected until you register.
Budget data you enter — your envelopes, transactions,
categories, goals, recurring items, tags, and related notes. This is the
core content you create to run your budget.
Household data — if you create or join a household, the
team membership, roles, and the budget shared within that household.
Notifications — budget alerts and household notices we
generate for you, and, if you enable push notifications, a device push
token used only to deliver them.
Subscription data — whether you have an active PLYVA
Premium subscription and its type. Purchases are processed by Apple; we
receive an entitlement status (active / trial / expired), not your card
details.
Technical data — a session token to keep you signed in, and
minimal diagnostic logs needed to operate and secure the service. We do not
use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Why we process it (legal bases)
To provide the app — storing and syncing your budget across
your devices (performance of our contract with you).
To send notifications you asked for — budget alerts and
household notices (your consent, which you can withdraw in settings or your
device).
To manage subscriptions — unlocking Premium features you
purchased (contract).
To keep the service secure and working — preventing abuse
and diagnosing problems (our legitimate interest).
Who processes data on our behalf
We keep the number of third parties to a minimum:
Appwrite Cloud — hosts our backend (your account and budget
data) in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Connections use encrypted
HTTPS and access is restricted by per-record permissions.
RevenueCat, Inc. — manages subscription entitlements. It receives
a pseudonymous app-user identifier and your subscription status, not your
budget data.
Apple — processes App Store payments and provides purchase receipts.
Apple’s handling of payment data is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
Email delivery provider — used only to send transactional emails such
as verification and password-reset links.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in the European Union (Frankfurt) via Appwrite Cloud. All
connections between the app and our backend use encrypted HTTPS. Session
credentials are held in the device’s secure storage, and access to your
documents is restricted to your account (or your household) by per-record
permissions.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your
account, we erase your personal data — your envelopes, transactions, categories,
goals, recurring items, and notifications — and delete the account itself. Data
that belongs to a shared household remains with the household for its other
members; it is not tied to your personal account.
Your rights
You can, at any time:
Access and export your data — use Settings → Export
CSV/JSON to download a complete copy of your budget.
Correct your data — edit your profile and any budget entry
directly in the app.
Delete your data — use Account → Delete account to
permanently erase your account and personal data.
Withdraw consent — turn off notifications in settings or
your device.
If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to object to or restrict
certain processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection
authority. To exercise any right, contact
support@get-plyva.app.
Children
PLYVA is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data
from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for
significant changes, notify you in the app.
This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is between you and Emina Halilovic
(“PLYVA”) and governs your use of the PLYVA application.
Licence
PLYVA grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence
to download and use PLYVA on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for
your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with this EULA and the App
Store Terms of Service. This licence is also subject to Apple’s standard
Licensed
Application End User License Agreement; where that agreement and this EULA
differ, the terms more protective of your consumer rights apply.
Permitted use
Use PLYVA only for lawful, personal purposes.
Do not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app, or
reverse-engineer it except to the extent the law permits.
Your account
Keep your login credentials confidential and your account information
accurate.
You are responsible for activity under your account; tell us promptly of any
unauthorised use at support@get-plyva.app.
Intellectual property
PLYVA and its content, design and trademarks are owned by Emina Halilovic. This
EULA does not transfer any ownership rights to you. The budget data you enter
remains yours.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
PLYVA is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to
the extent permitted by law. PLYVA is a personal budgeting tool and does not
provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice. To the maximum extent
permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or
for the acts or failures of third-party providers we rely on (including Apple,
Appwrite and RevenueCat). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited
under applicable law, including your mandatory consumer rights.
Termination
This licence continues until terminated. It ends automatically if you breach
this EULA; you may end it at any time by deleting the app and, if you wish, your
account.
Governing law
This EULA is governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, without prejudice
to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
